16 weeks ...

... until The Challenge so the regular gym visits and daily dog walks with Bill are now going to be supplemented with longer walks at the weekend.

Good friend and dad of Isobel, Stephen offered to be my training buddy and today we headed out for our first walk together.

Did a lovely 8 mile walk around Stow, Maugersbury, Lower and Upper Swell, Donnington and Broadwell. Glorious weather, happy dog and good chat along the way made for a lovely few hours.

We had a wee coffee, oatcakes and cheese and wine gum stop at the site of the Stow Battle in 1646 and admired the view.
