The Morning after the Night Before

So we walked home in the fog last night with smoke and the smell of fireworks hanging in the air, the air was heavy and obvioulsy hung around all night.

I'm not sure what my neighbours thought of me in the garden this morning but the sunlight playing off the damp lawn was making magical effects and it would have been a shame to miss it.

We've been tidying the garden this afternoon and three hot air balloons passed over, I got a couple of shots but none that I liked as much as this one, it isn't perfect by a long shot but I like it.
