A nice warm cup of tea...

... When I was a very young Mum I sometimes looked after the child of a very dear friend.
I was taken to task.
Having spent time with me, the child was incapable of saying 'cup of tea' without adding my adjectives.
Funny, the things we say without awareness!
(Or how much I clearly looked forward to the cup that cheers!)

We've been busy (with household chores. Bleurgh.) today.

So, I made some Oat and Mango cookies. The recipe was found on the back of the pack of dried mangoes.
Disappointingly, the pack didn't feature a 'serving suggestion'.
I'm very fond of serving suggestion images. They can be the cause of much hilarity in our house. (LIke tinned tuna, pictured in a dish. But it's only a 'suggestion').

Cookie verdict? Quite good and might even (adapted a bit) make it into the book!
