Still Blooming

Even though we've had a couple of light frosts, these tender perennials are still blooming. The red flowers on the left are those of a Pineapple sage, on the right is Salvia Guaranitica 'Black and Blue." I particularly liked how the brilliant blue of the Salvia looked against the reds and orange leaves of the Sassafras tree in the background. Once we get a hard freeze, both of these plants will sadly die.
