It's not like going on a train...
Listened to the writer Karen Armstrong with interest - she speaks about compassion, about listening. Karen has been living with a relationship to religion all her life, first as a catholic within a convent, then taking distance and back again but to a new place within.
She talks about the importance of listening - when we listen to another person and hear his pain, when the autenthic self can come through. She expresses it much better with her academic well formulated language, but the core is compassion and not only to our neighbours and family, but extended further to other people, other countries.
K. talks in a religious context, but I believe it's about Life Knowledge.
And the train... she talks about taking on a religion is not like getting on a train and expect it to go until the end... :)
and I played with the shutter speed shooting this wagon not going anywhere.
