Talking Loud and Clear

Lovely day today, bit of a lazy one. Me and the girls said good bye to Stucks and off she went back to Brum. We pottered about for a bit, painted nails and straightened hair and had a nice chilled day.

Took advice onboard and cooked a meal from scratch for me and Eve. It was really nice and I felt quite bad for not doing it more often when she came into the kitchen and piped up "Mmmmm I *recognise* that smell"

It was a beautiful day in Mossley so we headed to the park this afternoon so the girls could go on the skatepark with their scooters. J still doing the same ramp over and over again..she likes her routine that girl! But Evie was on the high ones and holding her own with the bigger kids. Hit Girl and her Barbie Scooter ruling the roost.

The sun was out and after the skatepark the girls hit the zip wire. That gave me an excuse to do something that I have liked doing since I was a teenager.

Lying down in the grass, listening to music and just staring at the sky.
Possibly inspired after seeing Gregory's Girl - although I just look at the clouds I don't dance anymore. Much. Honestly.

I had my headphones in listening to some alt:country and neo-folk tunes on my phone <blipped from camera phone>

It reminded me of when I lay in the fields above Gee Cross in 1984 listening to OMD. Not on a phone but on a TAPE recorder!
