Pumpkins Past

I was admiring the many photos of pumpkins that have been up on blipfoto over the past few days.

I came down this morning to discover that our pumpkin had 'leaked' down the side of the unit and onto the kitchen floor. He was also all white and furry down one side and if i was being honest with myself, he had begun to smell. Oh well, all good things must come to an end. Looking rather forlorn, he is waiting to go out to the chickens in the morning.
Well at least something is eating him as I do love a bit of pumpkin soup.
