A Slow Life

Movember Day Seven

I had a crack at shaping the mo' today. This turned out to be particularly difficult as the shaving attachment on my clippers didn't seem keen on cutting hair. I had to rely on a normal blade instead. Hopefully I haven't made too much of a mess. I would have liked to have followed my jaw line more and curved the mo' closer to my ear but that would have meant utilising "follicly challenged" areas of my face and I didn't want to risk it.

Shirt: My sister gave me this when I was back in the UK in 2009 and I regularly wear it for work. It has cool looking passants (look it up) which alas you can't see on this shot. Sorry about that Sis!

Accessory: A squirrel (see below).

Expression: My old school friend Cathy kindly made a donation to the Movember fund and, when asked if she'd like me to attempt any particular expression replied "Man surprised by an unexpected squirrel". How's that for creative thinking!

Of course surprise is the only emotion a squirrel might expect to be greeted with here because there are no squirrels in NZ. And I suspect that if one was sighted it'd be treated like a possum (take it from me, you don't want to know).
