Tomato sauce (not ketchup)

I made this pasta sauce last night from scratch using wine and home-made chicken stock.

It was so darned good that I didn't mind at all it being the only thing available for my lunch just now.

Perfect preparation for lots of free champagne this evening at an 'Open Gallery'
