It was Eid today and celebratory traditions tend to be seldom her in UK and not as illuminated as it is in countries that celebrate it as a national holiday. Until this evening...with friends we went to dinner in a hotel and whilst exploring in awe of the high ceilings and feeling like we'd stepped back in time to the Victorian ages, this chandelier illuminated the unchanged beauty. Like traditions and celebration of Eid it is unchanged yet magical in bringing people together. Eid Mubarak.
