Summer again

One of the great things about Barcelona is that it is lots of different places in one.

It has a wonderful old city, great shopping areas, spectacular views and delightful gardens in Montjuic and a terrific seaside resort area.

Today, after seeing the spectacular remains of a Roman temple and exploring the wonderful Mercat de la Boqueria, we went to La Barceloneta to see the sea and enjoy a huge seafood meal.

After yesterday's rain, it was great to see the sun and blue skies again. In fact, today was like a British summer day all over again.

I just love it here!
