Bad weather? What bad weather?

I returned to Minsmere slightly sooner than planned after yesterday's visit, meeting up once again with Ant and Dawn.

Yesterday was gloomy and grey. Today was, if anything, even gloomier. Very wild and wooly but, nature lovers that we are, we just togged up well and kept going. We weren't the only ones though - you can see more hardy souls on the skyline.

Nothing of real note today though I guess a couple of Bewick Swans isn't bad. However, the Starlings were the real stars, putting on a low level show just for us over the reedbeds. It was like being in the middle of a murmuration.

Here is the happy couple, their last day in East Anglia before heading home. Their spirits weren't dampened. Really have enjoyed being able to share some time with them.
