Roquetes - Barcelona

My wife asked me to take her to this neighborhood on the other end of town.
Roquetes.
I had a long time without going there. It is a neighborhood of immigrants, gypsies and workers who are suffering a lot with the crisis. The children are hungry because jobs are scarce and families are dysfunctional. This happens within 15 minutes of the tourist life and elegant neighborhoods of Barcelona and few know what happens there.

Today we went to visit a children's shelter run by Catholic nuns who are doing a great job with the nails.
