Poppyscotland
In Princes Street Gardens a tribute to service personnel opened today as a temporary field of remembrance to mark the 90th anniversary of the Scottish Poppy Appeal.
The gardens were shut when I was passing this evening so i couldn't take a blip from the other side where the poppies on the crosses could be seen. But the sheer number of crosses, so regimented in display, made a huge impression.
The field will fill up more in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday.
