full moon indian summer
A pileated woodpecker flew over the lake tonight, more remniscent of an archaeopteryxian lawn dart than a bird.
I was able to stay out late because of the full moon.
In this shot I was trying to catch the colors of the autumn foliage illuminated by the late setting sun as seen in the reflections across the lake.
Maybe a few more evening paddles before the winter weather kicks in.
