Misty

Today was a bit of a fail for me. It started off with beautiful sunshine (though it was freezing cold) and I kind of expected that today's blip would be of some lovely buildings in the sunshine or something along those lines. So off I went to my pilates class, narrowly avoiding a successful ambush by some ice.

Halfway through pilates, I very nearly fainted, which was rather awkward and embarrassing (I'm good at getting myself into those situations, but not so good at dealing with them) though everyone was lovely about it. I think it was just really low blood sugar or something, but it somewhat scuppered my plans to go for a wander in the afternoon - I didn't really fancy fainting in the middle of Morningside. (I'm fine now, by the way.)

So I ended up spending the afternoon at home, getting a bit annoyed at not going out in the sunshine. Then the mist or fog (is there a difference?) swooped down out of nowhere and being at home wasn't so bad after all. It was so thick that we could barely see the clubhouse of the golf course across the road from us. Oh the joys of Scottish weather...
