fern play

I went into the field across from us and started playing with all the brown ferns(Is that what happens when they go dormant? Or, did they die?) I worked with my macro lens and got some fun shots.

I also found my sons favorite sweatshirt that had been stolen out of his car a couple months ago! The scumbags thieves must have tossed it over there that night as it was very soggy and had many 'friends' on it(potato bugs, millipedes, moss....got the invaders off so now he can take it to the local laundromat. And, I stayed home from the office today and cleaned cleaned cleaned! I feel much better now(but, seriously? I 'd rather go to the office!!)

I think this photo looks better large(I'm not sure how to make that happen though) I've still got so much to learn!
