Please remember to buy a poppy

Every year I buy a poppy, several in fact, as invariably the rain or various jacket removals will make it look like its been sat on. Wanting to change the one I had, I remembered that I had seen various ladies around town wearing larger ones made out of some kind of fabric. Knowing that the royal legion had a stall set up in supermarket, I went down there to get one.

But they were sold out :(

One of the nice men (they all seemed to be bikers & had a Harley decked out with poppies) saw how disappointed I was & made one especially for me.

We had a lovely chat about how they are continually selling out of them & the disgrace that is FIFA for not allowing poppies on international shirts
