The Iron Horse

I mentioned this chap in a recent blip. He was one of two things I bid for at the auction last Friday to keep for myself. I think he is just lovely and he makes a nice addition to the inglenook standing as he does next to the wood burner. I may blip the second item sometime but I want to try and find some information about it first if I can. The other treasures were very gladly received at the Oxfam shop
Today has remained grey and 'mizzly' so we went up to Teesside Retail Park for a couple of hours. Not something I am often inclined to do but it was interesting to consider all sorts of odd items in TK Max.
Various little jobs this afternoon then must pack for a trip to Birmingham tomorrow to see a daughter. Best of all we are both meeting up with one of our favourite blippers on Thursday. More on that later, much more I hope!
