Rat with Tail?

Another of our regulars.

I have such mixed feelings about grey squirrels. In Arran there are lots of reds, and I love them: they remind me of my childhood, when you could sit and feed red squirrels in Balloch Park, masses of them. Seem to remember lots in that park off the Switchback Road too, in the early 1970s?

The greys are tainted with the slur of 'rats with tails" and it's difficult to feel affection. Shame; bet it wishes it was a red!
