Things are looking up

It's a dismal November morning, the rain came in sideways soaking me on the way to work and I couldn't find anything worthy of a snapshot. So I turned the camera on myself - I like the angles of aerial pictures, they are tricky to do with an arm for a 'tripod'

I liked this shot, mostly because I'm looking up - it's been a turbulent year so far, I've sold my beloved house, moved into a new flat with my soppy cat, lost one love and met another (heck - who's here to tell me not to speak too soon!) so things are indeed looking up. Despite the rain.
