Trying to knit a scarf!!!

Alex asked for a scarf, but didn't like any we found so I made the mistake of asking asked if he wanted me to knit him one. He said yes and chose some wool from the shop in Stamford.

This is as far as I have got so far - assisted by Alex asking if it's ready yet at frequent intervals!! Hopefully it will be ready for him to wear in a day or two.

I must admit that I quite like the idea of him wearing something that I have made him, and I think he quite likes the idea too.
