Night shots 8 - Having a drink outside
I took this shot just outside the Jolly Judge, a nice pub just off the Royal Mile. I tried my best to keep a steady hand, but it still looks a bit blurry. Never mind! I like the colours of this lit up building and I also liked the detail of the two guys sitting outside having a drink.
This morning, as I was walking up to work, I was having some happy thoughts, and I found myself grinning without even noticing it. It's funny because I really like it when I see people in the street smiling to themselves. It's rather unusual and it makes me wonder what they're smiling about. So, probably, there was someone out there wondering what I was smiling about too! :)
It's been a very quiet day at work. That's good because, as I was having a few problems with the keyboard in my computer, I brought it to work and the maintenance guys had time to have a look and fix it for me! Great stuff!
We had as well some really good positive language training today. So, from now on, everything will be awsome, fantastic, excelent and amazing! :)
I'll tell you a bit of a funny story. The other day I was having a wee talk with one of the tourists in my tour, the usual stuff, you know: Is this your first time in Edinburgh? Are you having a good time? and so on. The guy was going back to his country that same evening and I asked him: so, how did you find Edinburgh? (meaning, of course, did you find it interesting, beautiful, boring...?) and he answered: I found it on the map! Hahahahaha!
Anyway. I haven't had my dinner yet, so I'll go now to have something to eat and I'll catch up with your blips after that. Thanks very much for all your comments again! I hope you all had a great day! :)
