After the rain

When I left home this morning the day was a sunny, bright day with just a few light clouds. By noon however the clouds thickened and after much thunder, it started raining heavily with a cold wind blowing. Really caught me by surprise as I had not paid any attention to the weather forecast this morning. This lasted for about an hour and by early afternoon the sun came out again and the day got really warm and rather stifling due to the humidity.
