My Year in Pictures

Leg up?

Nope! Just put a treat on top and he doesn't need it!

I'm not able to do a long training walk this weekend. So, as I had no appointments today, I headed out with Bill first thing and decided to extend our normal 90 minute route to take in the Barringtons making it just under 3 hours.

Very grey and drizzly but a good stomp despite the three "inconsiderate to wee dog" stiles along the way!

Made me remember Lester and one of our holidays in Cornwall. He wasn't a jumper - despite his size - and it was something we never encouraged as we didn't want him to escape over the garden wall! So when we were confronted by a stile that did have a gap big enough for him and was too high, James had to pick him up and throw him over! Great fun with a wet, sandy, muddy and wriggling dog who weighed over 7 stone! Wasn't helped by the fact it was on those lovely Cornish coastal paths which are very narrow and very steep!

However Bill popped over this one to my complete and utter shock!

Have to confess walking is now somewhat difficult. Mr Scary really put me through my paces yesterday morning and worked muscles I didn't know existed. I think a hot bath may be in order shortly.
