Wednesday Market at Clermont L'Hérault
Much of today has been busy with very annoying tasks of telephone calls and writing E-Mails in French, all connected with our broken car.
Far more interesting this morning was our visit to the nearest "large" town (relative term), Clermont L'Hérault. Here was a bustling market, full of goodies of one kind or another.
Several of the stalls were selling local garlic, and this pile caught my eye as rather attractive. It's better than car sumps!
Other stalls that I thought worthy of note were
Brightly coloured pots and so on;
Honey;
Small duck pies (Mme had for lunch!);
Saucissons secs.
