Bon Appetit
Delicious dinner with my friend Camille and his girlfriend Lily in her town of Avignon. First, a little escargot, then duck with green beans, and to top it all off, a chocolate mousse. Served with wine of course.
My thoughts:
The sauce that the escargot was in was delicious and actually the snail wasn't bad either, but I couldn't really shut my brain off so I was only able to eat one.
The duck was interesting because I haven't eaten meat in about 7 years, so the texture being meat-like was strange, but it was good (minus all the fat on it). And the green beans were wonderful.
The chocolate mousse was smooth and unlike mousse back in America. It was good.
Overall, a great meal with great people.
