I've Hurt my Finger

I took my nail off yesterday
It was broken don't you see
I should of left it well alone
Should have listened to inner me
But no, I picked and pulled it off
With the nail came skin and blood
I've banged and smacked it
So many times
It throbs in the fairy suds.


Haven't done much today apart from kiss my finger every now and then to make it feel better. Poor finger.
