Today's the day ......................... to meet the re-enactors

Chris and Carl are from Liverpool - but they're staying here tonight so they will be ready for work first thing tomorrow morning.

They are going to re-enact the story of Jud Kenton, a conscientious objector in two World Wars - with the help of about ninety school children from the local area. The setting for this re-enactment will be the Council Chamber of the County Hall in Kendal, a wood panelled room, perfect to create the right sort of atmosphere. With their help, the children will find out what motivated some people to be conscientious objectors and what consequences could happen as a result.

I'm one of the helpers tomorrow and I can't wait to be part of it all ............
