Macaroons and coffee

Another nothing kind of a day that perked up in the afternoon when we took the dogs around Goldsworth Park lake in Woking. I had one or two nice shots from that but the macaroons won out on the blip. We called in to Waitrose for a few things and these macaroons had been reduced from the outrageous price of £6.59 to a more manageable £1.49. These days you have to get the offers where you can.

When we arranged them on the plate they looked too good to eat so I solved this problem by preserving them here as a memory (although we have the another six to go at tomorrow). In fact they brought back memories of a trip last year to Bordeaux - plenty of macaroons there.
