POLICE, PEACEFUL PROTESTS & A CHANGE OF PLANS

There was a heavy police presence around Westminster and Victoria this morning, in preparation for the student protests. It all seems to have passed off peacefully - thank goodness - but central London buses were affected by road closures, so Lindsey and I decided to postpone our Covent Garden dinner plans.
