My new toy

I'm on holiday from my main job & the weather is grey so that means I'm allowed to buy a new toy, right?

Donna from Handy Woodcrafts dropped off some handmade drop spindles at my friend's sewing cafe yesterday so I popped in to have a look. Several hours later i left with this beauty made with reclaimed elm & walnut. Gorgeous. I even got a lesson in turning fleece to wool. I'm impressed with my progress though I know when I knit it I'll probably have to use three different sizes of needles.

This evening I worked for a well known tv medium. I have no problem believing in spirits but would they make all that effort to come back to "a loved one" to say they saw them buy spotty pyjamas? Hmmm
