Looking South from 60N

This little sign, on the roadside about halfway between my Shetland house and Lerwick, marks the point where the road crosses the 60 degree line of latitude.

Looking south seems appropriate - this evening I start to travel south. Over the next week or so I'll be travelling about 8500 miles south from 60N to about 55S.

First stage - the Northlink Ferry to Aberdeen.
