Needs must quickly blip, as opposed to needs must eat cake....
...Although...
(I'm sorry it's a food blip again. I seem to be stoving over a hot slave a lot these days!)

An SOS phone call today requested a quick 'Death by Chocolate' 18th Birthday cake.
For Saturday!

And tomorrow is an unable to bake day.

So, this afternoon was a tad busy.
The cake has yet to be cut into three rounds, each drizzled with liqueur and then brushed with melted white chocolate. THEN sandwiched together with a pound of chocolate and half a pound of butter, with liqueur.
Then covered with a ganache of chocolate and fresh cream.
Finished all over with chocolate caraque.

Quite frankly I hope they're sick!!! :-)

(Not really! It's what the birthday boy wants and he's loved to bits!)
