Another Languedoc year...

Fire

It's been a hectic day. A's at a wedding in London leaving me in charge of my mother, three dogs, seven hens, one ailing cat, a hole in the roof and a visit from a potential house- buyer.

The day started with two of the dogs having a regular visit to the vet for annual jabs. I can't manage two at once as Kit hates it and hauls me every which way. So lovely Eliane came with me to hang on to one dog while the vet and I sorted out the other. Mum babysat the third dog at home and he howled from the moment we left until we returned apparently.

After a dog-walk in the vineyard I turned the house into a show-home. That's a lot of work with seven bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens and two sitting rooms! I lit two fires, made some bread, turned all the lights on and waited for the estate agent and viewer. After an hour's visit they left. We'd got on well and the chap said the house 'ticks all the boxes'. We're in no hurry, but I think he may make an offer.

After such a busy day mum suggested we had pizza for supper. Excellent idea. And so to today's blip. Which hot sauce to add? I went for the one one the right. Delicious.
