We Remember.
Admittedly, I don't think I've been to a Remembrance Day Ceremony in quite a few years, but that does not mean I don't think about all that was sacrificed for us. Remembrance Day has always been a big deal to my Mom, and she made sure it was a big deal for us too. Her Dad signed up, and lied about his age to fight in WWII, he was 15, and though those years he saw many things that we are lucky enough not to have to see. He watched his unit die.
Today I took the Mister for a walk where the ceremony takes place to quietly remember on our own. I took a few photos too, here is another one that I debated posting here, but I feel that this one is more powerful, more significant....
