H is for Historic

Thanks to Goatee Booknerd for giving me an idea on how to continue my gratitude blip challenge. Instead of spelling "thank you", I will spell "thank you very much" ;-)

While it won't win any photographic accolades, the photo above documents something very significant in Starkville, MS. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Starkville's first cistern for harvesting rainwater. The project is located, of course, and the Heritage Museum (more on the regional sustainable stormwater showcase can be found here).

It's big. It's bold. It's sustainable. Cool!!!
