Wells Carnival

This evening the wet weather didn't deter us from going to Wells Carnival. The drizzle turned into a proper downpour. Bless my friends 4 year old he stuck it out for an hour and in the end was getting too wet and cold so we called it a night.

Got home and even my pants were wet!

For those not in the know, there are carnivals all around the south west of England, they follow a route. There a floats like the one I Blipped and the usual rule is the biggest with the most lights and the loudest music wins. There are also marching bands, majorettes and fund raising.

On a dry and even on a wet night it's a real feast for the eyes!
