A night to remember

My fab friend got me a birthday present ticket to Sister Act for this evening in Edinburgh. We had a wonderful Tapas meal in the Omni Centre before going to the show.

I have been to very many shows but this was one the BEST! The singing, acting, costumes were fab and the script was very funny.

There was a full house standing ovation at the end which was spine tingling.

When I go to the theatre I just get right into that world on the stage. I relax and love every minute.

A very funny part of the night was realising we were sitting beside two ladies who were actually men, holding hands and sleeping on each others shoulders all the way through the first half. They left yawning at the break, so we moved into their seats - and therefore closer to the centre of the stage - in row D at the front, we were almost ON the stage!! It takes all sorts to make a world.

I loved that so many were there in nun fancy dress and entering into the spirit of the show from the outset! It was all such fun and so special to share it with such a great friend.
