The purple glowing edifice

This purple glowing edifice is what was once thought of as Edinburgh's poshest store - Jenners. Kennington & Jenner was opened on this site in 1838 but was burned down in . William Hamilton Beattie was commissioned to design today's building in 1893.

Interesting that a once such conservative store is now letting its hair down in pulsing purple.
