Karen and I have been trying to sort out our remortgage. Whilst this should be a straight forward process our new bank has decided to completly f@*K up the application. We cannot call our branch directly so we have to contact a CALL CENTER! Fine if that's how it is!! However these people don't seem to be on the same planet as you and I so a simple question results in us having to s p e a k v e r y s l o w l y and make it as simple as possible. To make matters worse our branch sent off our details, after confirming that they had everything, only to receive a letter two weeks later suggesting that the application is incomplete. Apparently all the branches fax information to Sheffield, they SCAN them in and they are emailed to Coventry ?????? Clever.
Now it would be easier I know to start again with a different bank but the deal is very good, but at a price obviously. Still it's all ok now...i think.

Enough of that, feeling better now.
