Jakarta

I spent today in Jakarta. 5 hours in the Jakarta office meeting people and writing up my trip to Kalimantan...5 1/2 hours in a taxi getting to and from the office. So this picture is one of the only interesting things I saw from the window of the taxi, the rest of the time everything was obscured by traffic.

I found a hotel, eventually and was on the 23rd floor. Apparently this is exactly the height that fireworks explode at, so the wedding party on the ground floor gave me a very close up view of them show from my window (not appreciated as I was trying to sleep...)
