A Special Tree

I spent a lovely time wandering in Mayfield Park today - although very wet in places, everything was so green and fresh. I was quite pleased with several pictures but was drawn to an old tree whose trunk was so unusual that I had to make that my blip for today. I really wish I was an artist because of the different shades of green in the park. Although I had been there before with my Granddaughter on a fun exploring day I saw it with totally new eyes today.
