Crossing

The crossing at the Dunster Church. What a beautiful village, what conflict between the monks and the townspeople over the church, resulting in one of the longest rood screens ever! We had to chuckle -- historical conflicts...current conflicts: it goes unsaid really. Writing this at the wonderfully unique, texturally interesting Millers' at the Anchor, Portlock Weir, Exmoor, Somerset, right on the Bristol Channel. 1940's music playing... A good birthday.
