Tree surgerising
Despite an early rise - not my ideal thing to do on a Saturday - I have spent an absolutely gorgeous day in Stirling. Actually, going to Stirling isn't my favourite thing to do on a Saturday either - so that's pretty much a double no to today - but its fine. I was at a Bat Conference. The Scottish Bat Conference. I've crossed over to the dark side (so it was pointed out to me today) and am firmly on the bat circuit. Caught up with some MSc folks, had a chat with my MSc supervisor, and saw a tree surgeon play about in a tree. All in all - a top day. I've got the battitude. Haha.
And now on the train back to Edinburgh, I can look forward to catching up with good friends over a glass of wine - then home, to enjoy a bit of x factor. Guilty pleasure.
Am hoping mum gets out of hospital tomorrow - so I'm looking forward to speaking to her tomorrow, or this evening if I can make it past the French hospital switchboard..... I'm crossing my fingers/doigts...
