Moon Rise

I headed out late afternoon to go to Tesco for poppadoms for tonight's X Factor. I thought I might catch a sunset, but it wasn't up to much. I knew that the sky was clear enough for a moon rise if I could find the moon though, so I headed east. I like the framing here, but it needs more foreground interest to make the moon look massive - like it was over the trees, when I was driving home. Oh well, not bad for a first try.


p.s. why do cows, in the middle of nowhere, sound so much louder in the dark!?
