The sun goes down over Edinburgh

Had a really good day in Edinburgh today. D helping with a Cub outing to Edinburgh Castle so I took the opportunity to take in the Cadell exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (really good by the way, I would recommend it if you like the Scottish Colourists).

At the end of the day as I waited for D on the Castle Esplanade the sun was getting lower and lower in the sky. There were many tourists taking this shot and I almost didn't bother because I thought I would get too much flare but happily it worked out very well.
