Joke shop
Hull is a city I don't know too well, hence I find it's full of interesting buildings, lanes and shops. Today I came across the fine, Victorian Hepworth's Arcade, and therein, Dinsdale's Joke Shop, which was packed with the kind of (literally) cheap practical jokes and toys that I remember buying when I was a child.
This find produced a shock, and then warm glow, of nostalgia.
But I didn't buy a fart cushion this time...
