Weaving

I woke up early with that glorious realisation that it was Saturday. I got up to make the most of the day, half 8 actually is a long lie compared to my usual 6.25am.

I had an interesting weaving workshop at Once a Sheep and enjoyed the opportunity to hone my skills, think about the craft and learn from an experienced teacher.

I enjoyed weaving with strips of fabrics and practising fancy techniques like Leno and Brooke's bouquet, and am looking forward to trying out some linen on the big loom.

The evening was relatively quiet, Noah ended up sleeping over at his friends so Freya's pal stayed with us. Hoping for another long lie tomorrow and some down time too.
