Coffee Can Midden

Kathy and I enjoyed doing a bit of exploring to locate the best perspective on the fog filled Deschutes River Gorge photo that I am working on.

We discovered an easy way to get onto the old narrow gauge railroad roadbed which made the trip well worth the effort. Another day we will walk along this old railroad right of way that clings to the canyon wall just for fun.

An old midden, in a pile of lava rocks extracted from the nearby hayfield, from the ranch that overlooks the gorge provides my blip for today. The old no name coffee can in the arms of a large old sage brush carcass caught my eye.
